PROGRAM 5: DEVELOPMENT OF INDIGENOUS WOMEN

Strengthen the capacities of indigenous women to participate in territorial management and decision-making.

This cross-cutting program guarantees the participation of Indigenous women in the various projects implemented by Bari Wesna. In recent years, greater emphasis has been placed on projects for the restoration of degraded areas, territorial surveillance, and the School for Women Leaders. The latter is carried out in collaboration with the AIDESEP-Ucayali Regional Organization.
